It’s looking promising for clear(ish) skies on Christmas Eve for a bit of Santa spotting but if not, there’s a very good chance of seeing him going back home at 4.31pm on Christmas Day in the south west.

Also the good folk of the White Peak might catch a glimpse of him today as he pays Parwich British Legion a flying visit between 1 and 2.30pm.

On Christmas Eve, you’ll be able to see him (clear skies permitting) at 5.24pm in the south west
Cheryl, as our expert Santa-spotter, can you tell me when to look for him in Holland and Eastern Australia (Sydney area), so I can pass these priceless nuggets of knowledge on to relatives around the world? I’m sure it would be much appreciated. On second thought, I won’t need it for Holland as Santa normally gives that country a miss as Sinterklaas has already visited the children (and some well-behaved adults) on 5 December. And he usually arrives on a white horse on a steamboat … not on a sledge in the sky ….
Here is an archive photo taken of a sighting in Parwich, during the great reindeer strike of 1982:
According to the elves, he’ll be going over Amsterdam on Christmas Eve at 6.23pm in the south west. As for Sydney Australia, you’ll have a better chance of seeing him getting ready to see in the new year. He’ll be passing over checking that all’s well on the 31st at 9.27pm in the north west. Have fun!
