Lost Dog

We have just had a chap pop round as he lost his dog on the Tissington trail today (Sunday at around 11am). The description that he gave us of the dog is- jack Russell bitch, answering to the name of Meg.  She is white with a patch (I think he said a brown one over her left eye).  She has no collar (nor microchip).  The man said she is friendly, but a little nervous of men.

If anyone has seen her please contact parwich.org for the owner’s contact details

Lesley Bott has sent this email in.

A black and white cat appeared at the buildings on my field around 3 ½ weeks ago. It was (and still is) in good condition and is friendly and obviously used to people. (Been someone’s pet.) I have been feeding it for the last 3 weeks or so, after it had been there for a couple of days.

I think the cat is a female and is quite a big cat and unevenly marked. (Black splodge over one eye.)

Please could you give me a call on 390554 if you know whose it is?

P.S. It is not the cat that has recently appeared on the ‘lost’ posters around Carsington. That one is back with its relieved owner.

Lost Earring

Rebecca J sent us the following message:

I have a silver hoop earing that someone had picked up and put on the wall by the stile, leading from the field above the sledging hill to the road. I thought I knew whose it was, so I bought it back, but I was mistaken, so I have it at Knob Hall.
