Today I saw the first snowdrops in my garden. Here is a photo of them along with snaps of a couple of winter flowering shrubs also taken today:
The warmer weather seems to be prompting activity. There were also two male pheasants facing up to each other. Unfortunately my camera chose that moment for the battery to go flat. Are pheasants territorial, would they be planning for nest sites?
