We have received the following message from the Legion….
Thank you to all those brave souls who took on the challenge of the Roystone Grange climb on Monday. It was a great turn out and the sun sort of came out too so it made the 10 mile ride a very pleasant afternoon. Thank goodness there was a really tasty barbecue and great beer to celebrate the achievement.
If you’re sad you missed it, not to worry as, by popular request, we’re sure to repeat the challenge again soon.

Parwich Legion Bank Holiday Bike Ride – The Route

There’s still time to dig out your bike and get some oil on the chain and air in the tyres, in readiness for Monday’s Parwich Legion Bike Ride. The weather looks like it’s going to be perfect for cycling and the great news is, the route finishes with a long decent back into Parwich, so they’ll be no gasping for breath when you reach the bar for a well earned drink.
The route map and guide notes are provided below (click to enlarge) and markers will be set out to show you they way, so come along to join us for a 3pm depart.

“We completed the London-Surrey Ride 100 last Sunday – here we are at the finish. Thank you to everyone for your kind donations to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Thinking of this good cause certainly helped us through those eight rainy hours!
