The Parwich Oddfellows are holding a charity event at the Legion on Saturday 29th January. The event will raise money for Parwich Independent Welfare Fund. The sole purpose of the Welfare Fund is to provide help and support to people and on occasion to groups and societies in the village. Traditionally the funds have been raised through the annual harvest festival auction; however, this hasn’t happened for the last two years (due to COVID) and so funds are very depleted.
Details of the event and timings etc. will be posted shortly, but for now please put the date in your diary!

The organisers announced today on Facebook that because of ongoing Covid restrictions they have decided not to go ahead with the 2021 Y-Not Festival, but look forward to staring their planning for 2022.
Their website does not yet appear to have been updated, but presumably more details will follow, see https://ynotfestival.com/

As life seems to be moving slowly back to normal I think this is a good time for me to resurrect the Blog Diary and weekly What’s On posts. If any village clubs, societies, classes, etc are planning events (one offs or regular weekly activities) over the next few months please send us details to parwich@hotmail.co.uk Would be great to get info on Sycamore events as well as the Legion.
