A very tentative request: an American couple, keen supporters of Derby County FC (!), will be staying in my S/C cottage from Saturday 22 April, have tickets to watch DCFC play on that day (it looks like a 3 o’clock start).

They may possibly be interested if anyone is able to offer them a lift into and/or from Derby/Pride Park.

We were wondering if anyone had reported having eggs thrown at their house and/or car on the afternoon of Thurs 23 Mar.

We had eggs thrown at ours sometime between 2-6pm, unfortunately they’d started setting when we realised.

Also, this morning leaving the Village for work I saw a couple of empty egg cartons on the verge outside the Village, so wondered if anyone had had eggs stolen as well?

A massive thank you to everyone who sold tickets, donated prizes and bought tickets we have managed to raise a whopping £496 for the school to buy new games and equipment for wet days and after school clubs (photos to follow).
