Parwich School children are featured today on the Ashbourne News Telgraph Website in relation to their work as part of the Fair Trade Fortnight:

Pupils from Parwich Primary School show their support for Fairtrade Fortnight

Pupils from Parwich Primary School visited Central England Co-operative’s Ashbourne store to complete an ethical challenge for Fairtrade Fortnight, which runs until March 13.

The children searched for Fairtrade products throughout the store and completed a quiz which helped them to learn about where their food and household products come from, how products can be produced ethically and the wide range of Fairtrade products available. … … … …

Free Driving Lessons

Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership are offering free extra lessons to give young drivers experience of challenges such as motorway, town and country driving and night driving. A free three-hour lesson worth £75 is available if they

– are 25 or under and have passed their test within the last 18 month.

Whilst the article doesn’t mention hazardous conditions such as ice it sounds well worth taking advantage of.
