On the gravel at the entrance to Church Farm in Creamery Lane is a number of plants, herbaceous plants, wild flowers and shrubs, in need of a home. Please help yourself.
Everything must go, especially as my goddaughter returns to get her car on Sunday and the plants are currently blocking it in. Also there are lots of plastic plant pots in the large builders merchant back if they are any use to anyone.
Knock on the door if you want to know what the plants are.

Thanks to Saskia T who has sent this photograph with the comment “The postcards look great grouped together. I put them up in frames on the wall in the S/C cottage and people certainly comment on them. The other two items are also regularly used.”
We have a double bed free to a new home later this month. I believe it was originally from Ikea, is solid wood and in really good condition. Cat not included! Welcome to the mattress also if wanted. Debbie W 390568
I recently bought this phone for an elderly friend who refuses to use it. Despite my best efforts he will not join the modern world and will stick to the “blower” landline supplied by the post office (BT).
It’s designed for the elderly with big numbers etc, so If anybody has a good use for it please call and collect
I have 2 micro scooters and a pogo stick. I’m clearing out prior to moving and my kids have grown out of them. Both scooters gold for easy carrying or putting in the car. They also have adjustable handles.
“ The latest blog post reminded me that I have a large, sturdy wooden A-frame that I ‘rescued’ from a bonfire that was used by the Rangers at Carsington Water to dispose of unwanted and surplus items.
Measurements of the frame are 0.75 x (H) 1.30 m. with rope on the sides. The lettering will obviously need sanding down but it’s in good condition. I’m hoping that perhaps a local group, charity etc. can make use of it. (FOC). Contact Saskia on 440”
Does anyone know anyone, or a company, that they would recommend in relation to looking at laptop issues? I have an error message that says that my SSD (disk) has ‘degraded reliability’ and only has 3% life remaining!! I have only had this message since windows auto updated to windows 11. Having spent over 1 1/2 hours on a chat line with MS support yesterday I need to actually speak to someone who knows what they are talking about and who can potentially replace the drive without me having to re-install everything from scratch (if that’s possible).
I wonder if you could help please? My parents, Gill and Peter Simpson are despairing about being let down time & time again by tradespeople. They have been promised people to come to put in a new radiator &, look at lights in their living which have gone dim. Their summer house roof and felt has now blown off and requires repair. They also require help in the garden and for odd jobs. I wonder if you could put a request for help with the above please but tradespeople need to be reliable and be able to do the job well! I realise that many people are in this situation but they are becoming very anxious about this and are struggling especially with the light situation. I live up in Cumbria and have asked on Facebook for recommendations but have only managed to find substandard tradespeople. Thanks so much in anticipation Jackie Bateman . 390388.
