The Christmas Tree Festival in Parwich Church is well worth seeing, and if you go along tomorrow the ‘Crafts & Things’ event continues from 10am to 4pm and is followed by the service of ‘Carols by Candlelight’ at 6pm.

The First Play in the New Memorial Hall

Touring theatre company New Perspectives arrives in Parwich on Sunday to perform He Wore a Red Hat. This is the first play in Parwich since the Memorial Hall was re-built.
Pat Ashworth, reviewing the production in The Stage, the trade paper for the theatre, writes:

Tickets are now on sale for a Christmas Whodunit being staged by New Perspectives in Parwich Memorial Hall on Sunday.
The East Midland’s touring theatre company of professional actors are putting on a performance of He Wore a Ted Hat, a comedy noir.
