JOINT HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICE

There will be a Harvest Festival Service with Communion at St. Peters on Sunday 1st  

October at 2.30pm taken by The Rev. Nicola Briggs (Ashbourne Methodist Circuit) and the  

Rev. Nicola McNally (Vicar – Peak Five Parishes). The produce will be given to the  

Ashbourne Food Bank who are asking for Tinned fruit, Main Meals, Tuna, Coffee, UHT milk,

Biscuits, Rice & Cereals.  If you are able to donate please either bring your donations to the  

Church on Saturday morning at 11am or to the Service.

Everyone is welcome to the Service and there will be tea and cakes afterwards

FLOWERS FOR HARVEST

If anyone was available and felt so inclined, would they care to help arrange some flowers for the Joint Harvest Festival service in church on the 1st October 2.30pm.

People will be meeting up at 11.00am on Saturday 30th September in the church.

Oasis, containers and vases will be available.

You would need to bring your own flowers.

Parwich Village Bonfire and Fireworks

Now the cricket season is over please start taking your branches to the same site as last year. Please respect the cricket square.

The chip van will be attending to keep us happy and fed. Drinks will be available in the pavilion (proceeds go to the Parwich Carnival and Recreation Committee).

After a fantastic Odd Fellows family fun day today with a fantastic representation of dogs and families there was just one prize which failed to get mentioned. The winner of the adult buzz wire was Curl Edge with a close second by Phil Kirkham. A massive well done and thank you to everyone. More photos to follow.

According to the Serco leaflet, tomorrow is our blue and green collection day… plus food caddy.

Bin day change

Whilst there’s been a lot of confusion owing to wrong letters being sent out to some addresses by Serco… we believe that our bin days are changing to Tuesdays (unless a further letter is received Monday 18th September).

If this remains the case, these are the details for your new bin days…
