The last remaining annuals will be on sale for the next fortnight. Come and save them from their fate in the compost bin! To date you have helped PDHS raise over £200 which in turn will be used to support other groups and societies in the village.

UPDATE – Ben Dog has been found, safe and sound.
Ben Chadfield’s dog (Ben Dog) has been missing since this morning from Ben’s premises on Alsop Road. Ben Dog is a black and white collie with brown eyes, he has a collar but no disc. He is an old dog now and going missing for this length of time is unusual. There is a worry that he is stuck somewhere.
If you think you’ve seen him today, please contact Sandra and Arnold on 390317 or 07890 181 685.
If you hear a dog barking unexpectedly whilst you are out in the village / surrounding areas please investigate.

A lovely sunny summer’s afternoon saw another very successful Parwich Open Gardens. Our many visitors, who’d travelled from near and far were full of compliments for the gardens and the warm welcome they received. Thank you so much to everyone in helping to make this such a special day in the village calendar which once again has raised several thousand pounds that we shall be able to share among other Parwich clubs and organisations.
Many thanks too to John L for his fantastic photos that have captured the day perfectly.

DDDC has written to the Parwich Parish Council to inform that the annual canvass is about to start. This checks the accuracy and completeness of the electoral register. Residents should expect contact from Derbyshire Dales District Council either by letter or email from 12 July.
The email will come from electoral@derbyshiredales.gov.uk, the DDDC suggest residents monitor their junk/spam folders. Full instructions on how to respond can be found within the form or email.
If any households are unsure as to what to do or need any help completing their response they should contact the District Council by calling 01629 761335 or emailing electoral@derbyshiredales.gov.uk
DDDC advise that if a response to their initial canvass communication is not received, they have to send a reminder therefore a response to the initial communication is appreciated.
