Plus food caddy.
The next Parish Council meeting had been planned for the third wednesday on September which would be the 21st.
Agendas must be issued three clear days ahead of each meeting. The Derbyshire Association of Local Councils has confirmed that days of national mourning are not treated as clear days. This means that the agenda cannot be issued until the 20th of September at the earliest, which is too late for the planned meeting.
The meeting will be postponed by a week to Wednesday the 28th.
The agenda for a meeting on this date will be issued on Friday the 23rd.

Downton Abbey: A New Era is the sequel to the hugely popular 2019 Downton Abbeymovie, which itself was a spin-off from the legendary TV series.

We have a couple of friends coming to visit us in October but we don’t have a spare room to put them up in.
I’ve done a search of holiday accommodation in the village but couldn’t find anywhere available for the 1 night on the date they are looking for (night of 8th October).
If anyone has or knows of anywhere with availability that we can book for them please can you let me know… before I tell them to bring their tent!!
Thanks Donna J

We’ve recently moved into the village…Rowan Cottage and love it. Everyone so friendly and welcoming.
We need help with WiFi. We are going to need some kind of system because it is currently frankly awful, I’m guessing because of the thick walls.
I need for my business and we are also having Sky Glass fitted next week.
Is there anyone in the village or anyone known that could advise us what we need to have to be able to access WiFi asap?
We are not very technical btw!!!
Thank you very much

Hi everybody! I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has attended my posture classes so far – it’s been such fun putting them on. The Monday night classes have had a great take up so we have added another class to the schedule – Tuesday mornings at 9.30am – 10.30am.
Your first class is free and all classes will be accessible (very gentle – you won’t get sweaty) for most bodies. Please do send me an email if you have questions or you’d like to try out any of the classes – info@posture-ellie.com
Plus I am also hosting an all-day ‘Day of Posture Magic’ Day Retreat on 3 different dates this Autumn. The first is this Saturday 3rd Sept, then 8th Oct and then 26th Nov. The day retreats are held at ‘The Little Habitat’ Yoga Studio in DE655PN and include lunch. The idea will be that you get a day’s crash course in understanding why your body is suffering pain/tension and then you’ll pick up lots of tips of what you need to do to feel less achy. More info over at https://posture-ellie.com/in-person-workshops/

Thanks Ellie

Update for Bradbourne & Parwich Heating Oil Club
Brent crude once again hits $100 a barrel as larger than expect US inventory draws reduces reserves this week. Furthermore, in some areas protesters have been blocking oil terminals, disruption trade causing delays in deliveries and reducing access to product.
Whilst the cost of heating oil is high, its worth noting that the European gas benchmark now trades at what would be an equivalent of $410 per barrel of crude oil, which highlights the potential debilitating economic impact on much of Europe.
Estimated delivery times are 5 to 10 working days. Delivery times are only an estimated delivery time. Please allow plenty of time for your order to be delivered and allow for the bank holiday.
If you are low on heating oil and need a quick delivery, or your oil levels wont last until the end of the delivery timeframe for this order then this group order will not be suitable.

On the gravel at the entrance to Church Farm in Creamery Lane is a number of plants, herbaceous plants, wild flowers and shrubs, in need of a home. Please help yourself.
Everything must go, especially as my goddaughter returns to get her car on Sunday and the plants are currently blocking it in. Also there are lots of plastic plant pots in the large builders merchant back if they are any use to anyone.
Knock on the door if you want to know what the plants are.

The dog which was wandering around the village a week or so ago has been seen on the loose again today. It narrowly missed a car. It has a green collar. Does anyone recognise it?
