A small village community in Wales comes together to help bartender Jan raise a race horse. With little money and no experience, Jan convinces a motley crew of villagers to chip in their limited earnings to help raise a foal on her allotment and compete with the racing elites.
Based on the incredible true story of Dream Alliance, Dream Horse is a classic tale of triumph against adversity, as an ordinary woman makes her wildest dream come true and their horse becomes a beacon of hope in their struggling community.
There has been some disruption to collections due to strike action by Serco crews however best information I have is that domestic waste (grey bin) is being prioritised so we should get a normal collection.

The cost of kerosene remains high, pushed up by demand from the domestic and commercial sectors, meaning the cost of Brent Crude is now heading for $85 a barrel. Many suppliers are unable to take on new bulk orders as they are fully booked for the next few weeks. Delivery time is still 7 to 14 working days, but due to demand and driver shortages in some areas these times are an estimated delivery time, so please allow plenty of time for your order to be delivered. If you are low on heating oil this group order will not be suitable.
Rate: £0.5545 (pence per litre excluding vat [5% for Domestic use])

We have received this lovely email from Anne F recalling happy Parwich days:
I discovered your website whilst thinking about my parents who met during WW2 at Parwich hospital !! My mother was a nurse and my father was convalescing and many wonderful and lasting friendships were made during that time. Parwich has always had a very special place in our hearts and I grew up visiting the village and Parwich Hill many times and hearing many stories which we continue to recall to this day. Mum died last year age 98yrs and we have been thinking about how we could perhaps donate something towards the village. We brought Mum for her last visit only several years ago and drove her up the back lane that winds behind the hill and parked by the stile that accesses the footpath across the fields and to the top of the hill. Many memories !
We don’t have a huge contribution and wondered whether we could donate something towards your planting in Pump Hill ? Mum and Dad loved Parwich and spent their lives walking and enjoying the countryside. It would be lovely to contribute something in their memory.Perhaps there may be room for some more woodland flowers ?
