Tree down on Dale Road

Paul B has reported that there is a tree down on Dale Road covering the whole road. Please be careful as visibility isn’t great so it’s easy to hit. Location https://maps.app.goo.gl/twkSfLxu4woPYcpw6?g_st=aw

The Salt Path, based on the book by Raynor Winn, describes an extraordinary journey of resilience, hope, and self-discovery. Based on a supposed true story, this visually stunning film follows the life of Raynor and her husband Moth as they embark on a 630-mile trek along the South West Coast Path in England. Faced with personal challenges and homelessness, the couple finds solace in the healing power of nature and the breathtaking landscapes that surround them. It is a story that touches hearts, highlighting the indomitable spirit of the human soul and the transformative power of wild camping. The film stars Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs.

Village Bonfire and Fireworks Thank You

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported last nights event it was a great turnout and we hope you all had a great time.

The generosity of people last night was greatly appreciated, as was the hard work of all the volunteers (which is still continuing with the big clean up orchestrated by the amazing Roy Millward and his young apprentice Phil Kirkham). A special thank you to Parwich Parish Council for their kind donation towards the fireworks. So from me and the Committee, THANK YOU it all means we can carry on for another year.

Please can you ensure that no one passes the blue rope barrier around the bonfire until the Committee have completely cleared the site. The area is out of bounds to all until then.

Thank you again and see you next year.
