I have treated myself to a computerised sewing machine, and now have this one spare. I got it a fair few years ago from John Lewis, but there is still a version of it for sale currently.https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-jl110-sewing-machine-peppermint/p3723125. This is in full working order, manual, etc. Bottom loading bobbin so more fiddly then a top loader, but other than that super easy to operate.

Life seems easy for picture-perfect couple Ivy (Olivia Colman) and Theo (Benedict Cumberbatch): successful careers, a loving marriage, great kids. But beneath the façade of their supposed ideal life, a storm is brewing – as Theo’s career nosedives while Ivy’s own ambitions take off, a tinderbox of fierce competition and hidden resentment ignites. THE ROSES is a reimagining of the 1989 classic film The War of the Roses, based on the novel by Warren Adler.
“This remake of the 80s divorce farce is “a piercing black comedy” that is “played with droll perfection” by Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman” BBC Film Reviews

Thank you all so so much for your kind donations towards essential toiletries for women who need them whilst using maternity services at Queens Hospital Burton. We’ve hit our first milestone and have 50 full sets made up and ready to be delivered to the wards. There’s still plenty of time to get involved, either by dropping cash donations into me, or if easier, using the Amazon wishlist link below.
Thank you again, your support really will make a difference 🥰🫶💕 xxx

As it’s been so wet recently the school are on the look out for some new games/puzzles suitable for 4-11 year olds to use for indoor play and at after school clubs. Anything that you no longer use but is in good condition, doesn’t take long to set up or play would be greatly appreciated. You could either drop them off at school or I can pick them up, just drop me an email lucywigley@googlemail.com. Thanks Lucy M
