Free Logs!

The Parish Council had several dead trees in the village cut down on Friday. Pieces small enough to handle but which could be cut down for firewood have been left at each site. They are at the School Orchard by Pump Hill, the Playground and the east end of the Millennium Green.

If they are still there, residents are welcome to take some away for their own use. Note that this is at your own risk and take care when moving them. Logs should not be cut up at the site. Please respect the School Orchard if removing logs from Pump Hill.

Oil Price Up And Up

imageUpdate for Bradbourne & Parwich Heating Oil Club

Crude passes $64 a barrel this week, its highest since July 2015 and concerns it may reach $70 a barrel in the wake of the shock anti-corruption purge in Saudi Arabia. OPEC are also due to meet later this month and has already displayed better than expected compliance with the agreed quotas while forging fresh partnerships with producers outside of the cartel, including Russia to substantially reduce output.

As the weather has turned colder, suppliers are busy, so please do check your oil level and ensure you have allowed plenty of time for delivery. We have secured a rate and our clubs group oil order terms for this weekend are as follows:

Rate: £0.4240 per litre excluding vat [5% for Domestic use])

Urgent – Missing Cat

We have recently moved into The Vicarage with our 3 beautiful much loved cats. To our dismay one of them has been missing since yesterday evening 5pm.
This is very much out of character for him to be away so long.
He is a beautiful brown and cream long haired Ragdoll.. goes by the name Teddy.

Please call us if you find him, he is very timid, he probably won’t let anyone pick him up

With hope
