In March 2018 ‘Treasure’ was found by metal detectorists in Parwich. After a long wait, on Tuesday 24th October we were able to present our ‘Treasure’ and welcomed a number of experts to tell us more about what was found…

After inspection the ground is firmer than expected so the village bonfire and fireworks will be happening tonight. However, please no vehicles to be taken onto Parsons Croft. Unfortunately there will be no chip van but hot drinks, including our luxury hot chocolate will be available in the pavilion, all proceeds of which are used for Village events.

Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond his control the chip van will be unable to attend the bonfire tomorrow. The Carnival Committee will be doing a pitch inspection of Parsons Croft at 11am tomorrow morning to make a decision if the bonfire will be taking place, we will then post on here to let people know.
