Information shared by the Parish Council on behalf of Derbyshire Home from Hospital Support Service:

As we see the last of the summer sun and fast approach the pressures of winter that affect a lot of our health and social care services, I am emailing out to let you know Derbyshire Home from Hospital Support Service is still here and willing to support not only those who have been recently discharged from hospital but also those who are at risk of hospitalisation.

We can assist with tasks such as collecting prescriptions, shopping, signposting to other useful organisations and services, helping ensure someone’s living environment is warm and homely, arrangement for key-safes and simple telecare, as well as working alongside other professionals and agencies to enable a person to stay in their home longer. Here is a link to a film about our service : https://youtu.be/1q5QkCc7p24

Professionals can refer someone to the service by calling 01283 817417 and/or a referral form can be downloaded on our website www.dhfh.org.uk , which also provides all the information you need to know about the service. Family can refer and we also accept self-referrals.

Parwich Autumn Show

Parwich and District Horticultural Society would like to thank all those who submitted such delicious and beautiful entries at the Autumn Show. The following photos taken by John Lord give an idea of the talent and green fingers of local people.
