Are you looking for some help with your admin? I work for a few local businesses, and individuals doing office based work. My tasks vary between writing copy, proofreading, preparing figures for accountants, correspondence, general office work and PA-type tasks. I work either remotely or at their home office on a self employed basis. On occasion I have a few hours a week during which I can help anyone in or near to Parwich with their office administration (preferably to coincide with school hours).
I have a degree in Latin (Dunelm), computer literacy skills (Microsoft and Apple) and experience of running a business and managing staff. I can provide support on an ad hoc basis, with the option of more regular provision if required.

I am the owner of the historic Grade II Water Mill located between Bradbourne and Tissington and thought our local community would be very interested in our first public opening dates starting this year. I hope you may be able to pass on the information.
Bradbourne Mill is the oldest surviving water mill in Derbyshire and the earliest historical records take the site back to 1180 when it was held by Geoffrey de Cauceis, great grandson of Henry de Ferrers. The Bradbourne family became the first recorded tenants of the mill; later Roger de Bradbourne sub-tenanted the water mill to the canons of Dunstable Priory who held a cell in Bradbourne next to the church very close to the Mill. The current water mill that exists today showcases the oak timber hurst frame dendra dated to 1625-1630 and the exposed mill workings and water wheels, however, it is likely the stone building is of an earlier date.
For the first time Bradbourne Mill will be open to the public in May this year on three dates below between 10 – 4pm.

The Horticultural Society is pleased to report a great turn out for the quiz on Saturday, a good time was had by all! Proceeds of over £100 will go into the funds for future events and distribution to village organisations next year.

The Parish Council has received a copy of a letter to be sent to residents giving details of a public consultation that the county council is undertaking in respect of the above.
